Anchor-handler rates have risen sharply again in the North Sea as tonnage became scarce.
Two Maersk ships were booked for the Stena Spey rig move at £35,000 ($51,000) and £37,000 per day by Enquest, while Awilco Drilling paid up to £45,000 for another two vessels to move the WilPhoenix, over 21 days.
This is up from previous highs of £30,000. Norwegian rates reached NOK 400,000.
