Sea Trucks of the UAE has won a contract to supply a floatel to Malaysia.

The company said Sabah Shell Petroleum will take the 9,400–dwt accommodation/pipelay construction vessel Jascon 34 (built 2014) for two months, with options to extend.

It will house 200 people on the Malikai deep-water development project, 100km offshore.

The vessel, which can accommodate 335 people, will begin work in mid-2016.
