Subsea 7 is handing back a chartered Solstad vessel as it restructures the fleet.
The Oslo-listed company said the 130-metre pipelay support vessel (PLSV) Normand Seven (built 2007) is being substituted for its own 144-metre Seven Mar (built 2001) on a contract for Petrobras in Brazil which lasts into 2018.
The move will be made in late June.
"There are no other significant changes to the contractual terms and conditions," it said.
