Eidesvik Offshore has secured six months of employment for one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).
The Jan Fredrik Meling-led company said oil major Statoil has awarded the contract to the 4,800-dwt Viking Prince (built 2012).
Eidesvik did not disclose the charter rate and only said the terms of the deal are “in accordance with current market conditions”.
Viking Prince will start working for Statoil in late August.
