Farstad Shipping has revealed its first vessel sale since March.

The Oslo-listed company parted ways with the 15,014-bhp anchor-handler Lady Sandra (built 1998).

Its Singaporean subsidiary conducted the sale, which will result in an impairment charge of NOK 11m ($1.36m).

Lady Sandra was laid up over the summer and was classified as “assets held for sale” at the end of June.

The sale comes hot on the heels of Farstad’s decision to cut half of its Australian workforce and concentrate operations in Perth.
