UK owner Boston Putford Offshore Safety is scrapping another veteran standby safety vessel.

The 1,000-dwt Putford Apollo (built 1975) has been docked at the Fornaes recycling yard in Denmark, according to AIS data.

The yard is already demolishing the owner’s 400-dwt standby safety ship Putford Puffin (built 1970).

Fornaes has won a stream of offshore scrapping jobs in recent months as owners seek to deal with the dire North Sea market.
