Still scarce

Utilisation is looking healthy for both anchor-handlers and PSVs in the North Sea.

The 282–bp AHTS Maersk Assister (built 2000) was fixed at £50,000 for three firm days and seven optional days by BP for the Borgholm Dolphin rig move, down from £58,000 for the last-done deal.

Only two anchor-handlers were available in Norway and one in the UK after the booking.

Two more PSVs were fixed at unreported rates on Thursday, leaving one free in Norway and four in the UK.

Both ship types were running at 94% utilisation.
