PSVs still strong

Another busy day for supply ships has pushed rates up again in the North Sea.

The 4,800–dwt Olympic Taurus (built 2012) came out on top at around £18,000 per day from SPD for a cargo run

Seven fixtures in total over the weekend and on Monday pushed the utilisation rate to 95%.

Two more jobs were due to be booked on Monday, with only five vessels open in Norway and the UK.

Anchor-handlers were quiet, with three ships available immediately in Norway and four in the UK.
