Rem Offshore has tapped cash raised from a bond issue to buy a large PSV resale.

Oslo Axess-listed Rem has bought the 4,527-dwt Greatship Mohini from Greatship Global Offshore, a statement says.
Rem will take delivery of the vessel from Keppel Singmarine in mid March.
No price has been released and attempts to contact Rem chief Age Remoy were unsuccessful this morning.
Brokers say the owner was known to be looking for around $50m for the ship. A price of around $45m has been floated but this has yet to be confirmed.
Rem, which pocketed over $50m from a bond issue last month, has been sniffing around this vessel for a while, TradeWinds is told.
The ship’s MT 6012 design is similar to other boats in Rem’s fleet and will be capable of performing subsea as well as cargo work, brokers say.
It is suggested Rem has a contract lined up for the vessel, but there was no mention of a term charter in this morning’s statement to investors.
