China's Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding has diversified into the ferry market with a new order from Indonesia.
Brokers said the yard has secured an order for four 7,152-gt passenger/car ferries from an unnamed operator.
They will be delivered between January and July 2018.
In October, the yard clinched an order for two small tankers.
The 6,500-dwt ships will be delivered to an unnamed Malaysian owner in 2018, brokers said.
