German owner Norden-Frisia has ordered a new ro-pax at the domestic Pella Sietas yard.
Brokers said the 1,350-passenger ship is due from the Hamburg plant in May 2020.
The price has not been disclosed.
The Bremen company has 10 vessels operational, one dating from 1935.
