Estonian ro-pax group Tallink has posted a reduced loss for the first quarter as depreciation costs fell.

The net deficit was EUR 19.6m ($23.1m), compared to EUR 20.3m in the same period of 2017.

It carried 1.9m passengers, down 0.5% year-on-year, and revenue decreased by 3.9% to EUR 184.2m.

But the amortisation and depreciation expense decreased by EUR 1.4m to EUR 19.4m,
