British shipping needs to “step up in some key areas” if it is to prosper and deliver for the country as it prepares to head for the exit from the European Union in two years’ time.
Grahaeme Henderson, president of the UK Chamber of Shipping, said the industry needs to improve its safety standards, environmental performance, employment record, and be more innovative.
