Cosco International Holdings has appointed Liu Gang as its new managing director, replacing Liu Xianghao.
Shipping veteran Liu Gang will serve until the annual general meeting of the company in 2018.
His annual salary will be HKD 3.8m ($0.49m), based on his 30-year experience in logistics and shipping.
Liu is also the vice president of controlling shareholder Cosco (Hong Kong) Group.
Outgoing Liu Xianghao resigned as managing director but will remain as executive director of Cosco International.
