Three Hanjin Shipping container vessels have been sold at auction in Rotterdam for $392m.
The 13,092-teu neo-panamax trio Hanjin Europe, Hanjin Africa (both built 2012) and Hanjin Harmony (built 2013) were auctioned in court on behalf of HSH Nordbank on Monday, the FD daily said.
The buyer, represented by attorney Carel van Lynden, wished to remain anonymous.
The price works out at $130.67m each, compared to their newbuilding cost of $170m.
