Oldendorff Carriers looks to have made a quick profit of $3m after selling a bulker that was only acquired last September.
The German shipowner is said to have sold the 93,246-dwt Cathrin Oldendorff (built 2011) to Argentina’s Ultraocean for $12.5m.
The Yangfan Shipyard-built vessel, ex-Tonda Sea, was only acquired in September 2016 for a reported $9.5m.
The ship was one of four post-panamaxes bought by Oldendorff from compatriot NSC Schiffahrt for a reported $9.5m
