LGR di Navigazione of Italy has denied speculation surrounding the sale of a pair of products tankers.
Market sources had suggested the STX-built 50,000-dwt Miseno and Nisida (both built 2012) had been sold at a price of $22m each.
Carlo Pontecorvo, chairman of LGR di Navigazione, says the reports are untrue.
I an email he says the reported price is “pretty far” from what the owner would consider in order to part with the tankers.
