The first containership to be arrested following the collapse of Hanjin Shipping last year looks to be heading for scrap.
The 5,300-teu Hanjin Rome (built 1998) has been listed as sold by the Admiralty Sheriff at the Singapore High Court.
Several broking sources suggest that the vessel has been sold for demolition, but the identity of the buyer remains unknown at this stage.
