Pyxis on the prowl as asset values near bottom

Valentios (Eddie) Valentis is looking to take advantage of depressed tanker asset values to expand the fleet of US-listed Pyxis Tankers.

Pyxis went public a little over a year ago and will seek to use the capital markets to help support its expansion efforts.

Valentis, chief executive of Pyxis, told TradeWinds: “We definitely believe that asset values offer quite an interesting entry point, especially for MRs.
