Hunter Maritime Acquisition made its first move since going public last year with a $139.4m en bloc purchase of five capesize bulkers owned by the Oskar Wehr Group.
The deal will see the Saverys family's special purpose acquisition vehicle succeed in its efforts into the ranks of US-listed shipowners with a fleet of modern bulkers at a time of rising charter rates.
