Gener8 Maritime has reportedly sold a 14-year-old aframax to Asian interests at a premium to recent prices.
But some sources believe the sale of the 106,000-dwt Gener8 Pericles (built 2003) may have fallen apart before it was finalised.
Multiple broker reports say Peter Georgiopoulos-led Gener8 has sold the Sumitomo-built tanker for $11.7m.
That is somewhat higher than the $10.9m
