George-Procopiou-controlled Dynacom is being named as the likely buyer of a 13-year old VLCC.
Brokers report Dynacom as paying $27.2m for K Line’s 299,984-dwt Fujikawa (built 2004).
Executives at the Greek shipowner declined to comment on the matter when contacted by TradeWinds.
The price is almost $2m above that reported on K Line’s sistership, the 299,000-dwt Isuzugawa (built 2004), which was sold to Thanassis Martinos-controlled Eastern Mediterranean Maritime (Eastmed) last month for $25.5m.
