Tufton Oceanic Assets Limited is being linked with the acquisition of two ships operated by Maersk Line intra-Asia operator MCC Transport.
The London-listed fund is said to have acquired the 1,713-teu feeder containerships MCC Seoul and MCC Kyoto (both built 2008), according to brokers.
"Neither the MCC Seoul nor the MCC Kyoto are owned by MCC or AP Moller Maersk.
