The Turkish government has lined up a public auction for a general cargoship anchored near Istanbul.
The 3,600-dwt Belize-flagged Aries (built 1980) will be sold on 24 April if bids come in at more than 50% of the undisclosed estimated value.
Equasis' last update on the ship in 2016 has it carrying a Russian flag and owned by Saluta Shipping of Turkey.
