Ionic Shipping is coming into its own as a tanker company, wrapping up the acquisition of four tankers from Mitsubishi Corp of Japan, market sources said.
Clients of the Greek company are believed to have paid about $110m for the 107,500-dwt Diamond Eternity and Diamond Destiny (both built 2011), the 107,600-dwt Diamond Bliss (built 2009) and 114,700-dwt Diamond Faith (built 2016).
