Russia's Baltic Reefers has sent ships to demolition to India as Alang breakers picked up market share from their regional rivals.
The St Petersburg shipowner sold the 526,000-cbf Baltic Pilgrim (built 1992) for $415 per ldt or $2.6m, according demolition market sources.
Baltic had purchased the vessel from $5.5m from Triton Schiffahrtsin November 2013.
Meanwhile, the company has reportedly received $421 per ldt, or $2.5m,
