Former NEL high-speed ferry goes to auction for a third time

Greek authorities are making yet another attempt to auction off an 18-year-old high-speed passengership that has been unused since 2011.

A Piraeus notary is inviting bids for the 3,536-gt high-speed passengership Aeolos Kenteris 1 (built 2000) in an electronic auction on 18 July, Greek court documents show.

This is the third time this year that the former NEL Lines ship will go under the hammer.
