The shipbroker says it looking for a junior broker or trainee to replace Evan Frank Sproviero, who left to join the recycling specialist’s S&P, project and finance team.

In a statement, GMS told clients that its newest recruit will spend two months in Dubai before returning to the US where he will likely set up shop at the company’s office in Maryland.

Sproviero, who boasts advanced degrees from Fordam and St Andrews University in Scotland, joined Compass as a full-time broker after interning with the firm in the summer of 2008.
