Hong Kong-listed Pac Basin has bought a couple of Cido handymaxes and also taken a rare dip into supramax ownership, brokers say.
It is said to have paid $17.5m for the 32,100-dwt Fortune Ameryllis (built 2008) and a further $16.5m for the Charlotte Bulker (built 2007).
Pac Basin is also flagged as the buyer of a supramax from Doun Kisen of Japan.
