Afterraising roughly $93m, David Beard says the New York-listed tanker owner may bein a position to order at least three fuel efficient newbuildings.
“Thiscould bring the fleet count to 25 ships by 2015,” he told clients Thursday,adding: “Four [of Nordic American’s] ships will be 18-years-old [by 2015] andfour would be 17-years-old.”
Theanalyst believes eight of the company’s oldest suezmaxes carry a collectivescrap value of around $160m at current levels.
