TheLubeck-based shipowner said it has declared options for two 36,000-dwt shipsfrom Samjin Wehai Shipyard.
TradeWindsreported last week that Oldedorff had opted to exercise the options at theSouth Korean-owned shipyard.
“Thetwo units are exact repetitions of the first two ordered in June 2013 andare due for delivery mid/end 2014,” it said.
“Theships shall be built based on an eco design and are equipped with fuel savingfeatures such as a Mewis duct and boss cap finns.”
