The Houston-based offshore outfit will shell out $650m forthe vessel, including extras, which the Korean yard will hand over by the endof 2015, it announced today.

The fee is $15m higher than Atwood agreed for the thirdvessel which it ordered in September 2012.  

All four drillships are DP-3 dynamically-positioned, dualderrick ultra deepwater drillships able to operate in up to 12,000 feet (3,650metres) of water and drill to a depth of up to 40,000 feet.
