The Teekay LNG spin-off is paying $205m less a $50m upfront pre-payment of charter hire for the 155,900-cbm gas carrier.
It will then bareboat charter the vessel back to Awilco LNG for five years plus a one-year extension option.
Awilco LNG said it has fixed-price purchase obligations at the end of both the firm charter period and option period.
The vessel is under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and is expected to deliver in the third quarter of 2013.
