The 4,070-lane-metre Saudi Tabuk (built 1983) has gone to breakersin India for a price of $440 per ldt, brokers say.

It is the fourth and final Swedish-built sistership due tobe scrapped by the company this year.

The $8.25m received for the vessel is significantly higherthan the $7.54m it pocketed for scrapping sistership Saudi Hofuf in July.

Bahri is replacing the scrapped tonnage with six new vesselsfrom Hyundai Mipo and has sold its old ships as these arrive.

The
