The contract was revealed by Finnish group Wartsila, which is supplying a dual-fuel engine for the vessel.
The owner is named as Zhejiang Yuanhe Ocean Shipping Company.
Xinle is listed by Clarksons as having won a 30,000-cbm LNG carrier from CNPC in March in a previously unreported deal, which looks to be the same ship.
The yard announced steel-cutting on the dual-fuel vessel in April.
