October saw Safe order two eco-design 77,000-dwt bulkers in Japan at a price of $30m and $30.2m respectively, its quarterly report revealed.
The first vessel is due for delivery during the second half of 2015 with the second ship following in the first half of 2016.
In September Safe booked a 76,500-dwt eco-design bulker at an unnamed Japanese shipyard for $28m, with delivery set for the first half of 2015, the report added.
