Alesund-based owner Volstad Maritime ordered the offshore construction vessels (OCV) in 2012 for delivery in December this year and the second quarter of 2015.
However Bergen, which is undergoing a deep restructuring, is paring back on shipbuilding to concentrate on its offshore services business.
The hulls are under construction at Daewoo shipyard in Romania and were due to transfer to Bergen Group Fosen for outfitting in the second and final quarters of this year.
