Hong Kong-listed CSDC is sending the 38,800-dwt Dan Chi(built 1994) and the 13,100-dwt Tai Chuna (built 1995) for demolition, brokerssay.

It is not clear how much the tankers have fetched.

According to data from Clarksons, CSDC parent ChinaShipping is the world’s second largest products tanker owner after Torm ofDenmark.

CSDC has previouslystated it would send 20 tankers and bulkers for scrap this year.
