TradeWinds reported on Friday Frontline 2012 was taking on two suezmax resales at $54.5m each.
Some had suggested Frontline 2012 had bought the two tanker newbuildings which remained with Frontline after a rescue deal completed in early 2012.
However, two suezmaxes controlled by Greek owner Thenamaris are believed to be the ships picked up by the Oslo over the counter (OTC) listed company.
