As TradeWinds newspaper reports today Wah Kwong has sold the 298,000-dwt Venture Spirit (built 2003) to Navios Maritime Acquisition at a strong price.
Navios yesterday announced a $43.5m move for a ship matching this description which it did not name.
Some sources have suggested the price paid by Navios is high. Others disagree, countering that the fee is the going rate today in an extremely tight VLCC market where there is strong competition for available tonnage.
