Marsamxetto Steamferry Services is paying £1.2m ($2.01m) for the vessels.
The 19-metre ferries will carry up to 150 passengers.
They will be delivered this summer and provide tourist and commuter links to Valletta across the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour.
