The Dutch shipyard has licensed the US yard to offer its wind-farm installation ships, tugs, dredgers, crew boats and anchor-handlers for five years.
There will also be naval ships included in the deal, plus ferries, research ships and water taxis, Great Lakes said.
The agreement also provides for Damen technical services, including help from experienced workers on site and project supervision.
