The shipbuilding group said net earnings to 30 June were SGD 469.44m ($379m), against SGD 422.68m in the same period of 2013.

Revenue grew to SGD 3.17bn from SGD 3.05bn a year ago.

The company said that in the first half of 2014 its Keppel Offshore & Marine unit secured SGD 3.2bn  of new contracts.

This included its first floating LNG vessel conversion project from Golar LNG and five newbuild jackup rigs.
