The shipbuilder said the 4212 design will be named Sea Star 5 and operate between Mookho and Ulleung-Do on the east coast of Korea.
The yard’s Singapore plant will complete the vessel, which should be ready early next year.
The high-speed catamaran is kept on stock so can be delivered within a short time.
The 42.2m ship can carry 449 people and can travel at up to 40 knots.
