The vessel’s owner, China Dalian International Group (CDIG), said in a statement to the Shenzhen stock exchange that the 64,000-dwt Mandarin Wisdom is being sold for $28.7m.
It added London broker Clarksons had valued the ship at $28.75m
Hantong has previously built 15 supramaxes for CDIG between 2008 and 2012
Erasmus was established in the Netherlands in 2010 and commercially manages a fleet of kamsarmaxes and panamaxes.
