The South Korean shipbuilder said the net deficit to 30 September was KRW 456.25bn ($431m) from KRW 67.81bn in the same three months of last year.
Revenue fell to KRW 943.26bn against KRW 952.92bn in 2013.
The operating loss was KRW 606.35bn, compared to KRW 97.18bn a year ago.
The figures come on the same day that Hyundai Heavy Industries announced a big loss of KRW 1.46
