The ferry, which will carry freight and 1,650 passengers, will expand capacity on its Destination Gotland routes.
It is due to be delivered in 2017 and will be the first Swedish-flagged passenger vessel using LNG.
During the design process, both sides worked on creating optimal hull lines to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
Gotland said the ship was an SEK 1bn ($134.75m)
