Richard Fulford-Smith’s connection with RS Platou will end by the close of this year, it emerged today.
As TradeWinds has reported Fulford-Smith has clashed with Platou chief executive Peter Anker over strategy and has been readying the London branch of the company for a separation from the Norwegian parent.
Today – as it emerged Platou was in takeover talks with Clarksons – it was announced a pact was agreed on 5 November for RS Platou LLP and RS Platou Energy LLP to be wound up.
