Brokers said the 60,000-dwt vessels are costing $30m each for delivery in 2017.
The contract would be the shipbuilder’s first known order since May, when it booked two chemical tankers for Tokyo Marine.
It also signed up to build two products carrier for an unknown owner that month, according to Clarksons.
