The new order takes the shipbuilder’s orderbook to seven vessels, all due for delivery by 2016.
Oslo-listed Havyard did not provide information about the owner or the price of the new unit.
But is said the vessel is to be delivered in September 2016.
Havyard this week appointed Karl Eirik Froysa Hansen as its new chief financial officer.
The 33-year-old will take over from Idar Fuglseth on 1 January 2015.
